Jamie Frankenberg, LMSW

As a research associate, Jamie Frankenberg supports Brookdale’s research scientists by managing research projects, especially data collection, analysis, interpretation, and writing and disseminating the results. She is currently focused on an initiative to advance the creative aging field in New York City.

In addition to her role as a research associate at Brookdale, Jamie is currently working as a mental health clinician at The Institute for Family Health. Before joining Brookdale, Jamie was living in Melbourne, Australia, working as a housing support case manager and drug and alcohol counselor to support adults who are homeless. Prior to that, she worked as a geriatric social worker and mental health clinician in New York City. She also held research assistant positions supporting Fordham University faculty who were investigating aging.

Jamie is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She is currently enrolled in the Advanced Clinical Practice post master’s certificate program at New York University. She received a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications from Boston University.
