Sexuality & Gender Diversity

Sexual minorities are people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, or questioning. People who are gender diverse have a gender identity and/or expression that doesn’t align with their sex assigned at birth. Sexual minority and gender diverse older adults face ongoing stigma and discrimination leading to health disparities and difficulty accessing health and social services.
